Psychological thriller.  A man dies in the back of a cab in Southend, his last words “one hundred million” referring to an unopenable case strapped to his wrist.  Essex Dogs follows the case over the course of an evening as one protagonist, Corbis, pits his wits against a crime world guru, Richmond – using the case to bargin for Richmond’s wife.

BURMESE CHESS

Horror. A group of company executives find themselves locked in a factory one night when then answer a call from the managing director.  Upon arriving they discover a tape recording from him that states he’s been kidnapped.  In fact it’s a ploy by him to find out who’s behind him and who’s not and he’s watching them on CCTV.  However, a killer bumps him off and then begins to systematically kill them.

HARLEQUIN

Comedy set on a Mediterranean island about a podgy cat burglar/notorious hero who visits the mainland to steal. Set in the 50s, he central roles are worked around Commedia Del Arte characters giving it a pacey farcical style with the inocence and purity of an isolated island.

The visits to the mainland of the burgular are idolised by all and attract the attentions of the almost maniacal Commisioner of Police, as the story develops we find that he has his own reasons for hating the closeted charm of the island, he was born there and 'escaped' some years ago.
