Born in the East End of London, the son of a Hungarian porn film director, Alexander Fodor retains elements of his roots despite graduating from the Royal College of Art and also attaining a Masters Degree in Philosophy at Cambridge.
His keeness for cinematic beauty has led to an Art House label and although he's directed the odd Bill episode and edited for Al Jazeera he remains on the outside of main stream TV as an independent film maker of some 20 years standing.
Intellectual in mind but down-to-earth in manner post screening Q & A sessions rarely last less than an hour; passion and enthusiasm for every aspect of film production coming to the fore.
